it never rains but it pours
last monday mum moves into the new house.
tueday she falls over on the street, and breaks her knee.
has be to rushed to hospital and operated on.
luckily my boss gave me 3 days carers leave, so icould spend all day at the hospital.
then at night i had to alternate between unpacking mums stuff so i could mum-proof the house, and packing my own stuff to move into the house.
luckily scott arrived on friday to help out.
spent all weekend moving and packing and unpacking, just in time to go to melbourne for 3 days for work on monday. meantime, mum comes out of hospital, having to use a zimmer frame, and no one is at home to help her because im in melbourne and my brother is in NZ.
luckily im going back to sydney tonight so i can at least look after her, after only being at home for 36 hours alone. such is the joys of my job, mind you ill soon be on the other side of the world.
